Participants in the workshop were asked to produce a short-film using moving images as a representational tool of architectural space but also as a vehicle to emphasize the lived spatiality and the sense of place generated by materiality, usage, movement, light or sound. It was suggested that a narrative thread could place an important role in the accomplishment of that goal, so some correlations were proposed as possible storyline triggers. As part of the film creative process, particular attention was given to script writing and storyboard design, in an effort to foresee the final outcome, a similar method to the one used in architectural design. Filming was undertaken in nearby buildings selected by its cinematic features and the editing process was explored using the particular skills of architectural training.
